Well on Friday we had a "Fun Day" with baseball for the afternoon. I'm not really a fan of baseball, and as it turned out neither are Teri or Kaitlyn. So the three of us got to sit in the Foods room for 2 blocks and wait until the 3 o'clock bell rang. We weren't even allowed to sit outside and watch the teams play! I found that pretty ridiculous. We could have been cheering people on, but no.... At least we had a nice chit chat about all sorts of things. lol And the burnt popcorn was exciting. :p
Then Saturday was a big disappointment as well, because I couldn't get a ride into town for the parade and rodeo and everything. I wanted to come so bad, but nada. grrr If I'm still in BC next May, I'm definitely making the parade. ^_^ I want to see it!

Have you ever noticed how most of the pictures of frogs are of them hanging over leaves? I dunno why I decided to start my blog off with that today, but I just thought of it.
And then there's Kermie; he's just plain cute in any pose. hehe
Anyway, today we have our two core courses before lunch because after lunch we get to go pick up garbage. yay. After that the whole school is playing baseball.. the one sport that I think is more stupid that lacrosse. I don't think I'm doing to last long out there anyway, since I only got three hours of sleep last night. That was due to staying up til 2 and then having my alarm clock decide to turn the time back two hours so it would ring at 5 am instead of 7! Yesss.. I set the time to 7 and NOT 5.. but somehow .. meh. All I have to say is that I'm looking forward to this weekend because I don't have to use my alarm clock!
Only 37 days until grad!!!! 15 weekdays of school left!!!!! :D

Hello, I'm back. I know I haven't written for awhile, but I wasn't here most of last week. I was stuck in bed at home with one of the worst flus I've had in a long time. It took me five days to just get well enough to get out of my blankets. Anyhow, although I'm still a wee bit stuffed up, I feel much better. I was trying my hardest not to get sick all of our grad trip, while I watched one by one of all the other grads get sick the closer it got to going back home. Then the night before we came back up here, I ate a weird tasting fudge.. strawberry vanilla or something.. and it gave me a scratchy throat. The next morning I woke up with a sore throat and stuffed sinuses. Gah! If it weren't for the funny fudge! Oh well, lesson learned: never having fudge again. >.>
As for the grad trip in itself, it was awesome! We had so much fun, especially with the go-carting. The only down part about that was my cart didn't really go fast, so I had no choice but to chuck along. Later on I learned that by taking the corners wide and then doing a sharp turn, I cut off Kyle and Justin one time and they were sort of struggling to stay on the track, going into the grass at one point? Sorry guys. :p Plus the giraffes were pretty cool at the zoo. :)

Who is excited about the grad trip???!!! I for one am VERY excited! I've already packed and am pretty much ready to go. Can't wait until 3pm tomorrow! All I have left to do is buy a whole bunch of granola bars from the concession for snacks. :p I've never been on a roller coaster before, but I'm sort of a fan of heights, so it should be fun! The hotel we're staying at also has a pool, so mwuahaha! We really should stop at the superstore in chiliwack to get wholesale strawberries, Remi! hehe
Just a few minutes ago in Foods we made potato pancakes. Mmmm, they were so good. My Mom makes potato pancakes as well, but her recipe doesn't taste the same as this one, so I'll be taking this home to tell her about.
Other than that, Max and Nena are getting huge! The salmon are starting to come up the creek on our place which is really neat to watch, and GRAD TRIP IN 15 HOURS!!!!!!!!! Woooo!!!
P.S. Wish me luck on finding a lime green zipper down there. ^_^ Can't wait!

In Writing 11/12 class we're working on our yearbook again. One of my jobs is the grade 12 random pics page. The other day I spent a whole hour intently browsing thru all the different folders, without much success. So far I have 8 pics out of...... 400? You have no idea how boring the grade 12's are - especially on camera! It's pretty sad; we're supposed to be the happiest class in the school, since we're graduating and being set free in a few months and everything... Come to think of it, most of the grade 12's aren't a very happy looking bunch, especially lately. I know making sure you get good grades to guarantee that you're graduating is VERY stressful and we haven't been getting enough sleep either, but it's important to remember WHY you're doing all of this to yourself. Because if you don't remind yourself throughout high school and especially grade 12, then you might forget by the time you go out on your own, and then you'll just see your future as going nowhere and think you're stuck in a rut. That's why it's so vital to make goals and follow them through with a hungry passion, just like the one you have for graduating and getting out of here. (Not that it's a bad place or anything... too much ;)) Don't forget to be kind to yourself along the way.
