What I want to know is, what does everyone have against Nickelback?! They have such awesome songs.. their lyrics actually rhyme, every song has a different theme, unlike most other "hip" groups' songs. I've heard that some older people don't like the music because they've been playing it in the bars every since it came out so they're pretty tired of hearing it now. But what about those that haven't been old enough to get in the bar long enough to have heard Nickelback when they first came out. Even those that use(d) a fake ID aren't/weren't old enough. What is so revolting about this band? Every band has done some things that were mistakes, if Nickelback is the only band people hold a grudge against for THEIr mistakes, it's not really fair. What else could there be?

Mwuhahahaha! Guess who got 90% of her Christmas shopping done already? I usually get it done in September-ish, but this year I seem to be a little slower. I'm making a lot of my gifts myself, like paintings, books.. mini-gift baskets.
I can't wait to decorate our tree. It's been so long since last Christmas. :p
In Foods today we made sugar cookies to give as gifts at the seniors' banquet. They smelled delicious, but we weren't allowed to eat any. :( It's not fair, we should have at least gotten a crumb each! We're gonna be baking more Christmas goodies the week after next. I think everyone in Foods should revolt; unless we get to taste our creations, we won't make them!

Rain in November seems to pose nothing but problems. The first one this morning was that the car's doors were frozen shut! There was ice on the inside of the windshield for some reason. Then our driveway (mud drag heaven), with all the deep ruts, froze.. with all the deep ruts. Eep! The next dilemma was my bus' doors wouldn't shut properly because of guess what - ice. So the whole way into town, snow was blowing in through them and turned the seat beside them into a kiddie pool. The whole inside of the bus looked like one of those plastic bubbles you place on your lawn at Xmas with a fan in it that blows artificial snow around Santa and his reindeer.
I never knew it could snow real snow indoors.

The gr 12ers just put together our cookbooks - well, organized the pages. I was surprised at how big they're going to be - letter size. But I guess with so many recipes, they need to go somewhere. Saturday's craft sale should be interesting, when we get to sell our hard work to the Clinton public.
Poor Graig is stuck in Mrs. Mann's office, punching holes in all the pages.

Well, Christmas is inching closer! Almost only one month left! =D I have no plans yet, but I think I'm just going to wrap myself up in a blanket and sip hot drinks and munch on Xmas cookies 90% of the time. The other 10%, I hope to go sledding, attempt to build another igloo (the last years it's always melted before I could get the roof on), and throw plenty of snowballs at everyone. ^_^ Oh yea, and bake! Mmmm I love to bake at Christmas.. the smells of cinnamon and clove and brown sugar that fill the whole house. And then there's Xmas holidays! Which are extra long this year - we only come back on the 8th! Yippy! With all that free time, maybe I should fill another sketch book.

Mmmmm... cookies. :P

It's a long weekend! I know everyone else is probably happy as a 5 year old at Christmas, but, being once again the weird one, I'm not. This is mostly because I get to stay at home the entire weekend and do homework or whatever else there is to do at home. I won't be able to get a ride to anywhere, again, either.. most likely... and seeing that I live 50 minutes out of town, I don't expect to be walking.
The whole family "mood" has been quite depressing as well, which means I'll probably be hermitting in my room with a bag of cookies and waiting for Tuesday. Yes, Friday isn't only a no-school day, but Monday, too!
Save me!!!
